Don’t think you know me…

Interpreted by Tanimara Loupatty

Don’t think you know me…
Unless you open your heart…

There is no rigid identity in me to grasp…
To jail, confine…

But a profound self
that your vain judgements
will never touch…

With firm roots dug deep inside…
What you actually see…
Simply volatile…

Don’t think you know me…
Because you saw me laugh…
Cry…
I might have appeared lost…
Confused…
Broken at times…
But don’t be mistaken by the surface…
Water droplets on a clear diamond face…

Like the wind…
Sometimes soft, warm,
like a summer night breeze…
Cold, strong,
like a winter storm…
Still, awake, sleep…

There is no rigid identity in me to grasp…
To jail, confine…

But a profound self
that your vain judgements
will never touch…

Don’t think you know me…
Because you saw me laugh…
Cry…
I might have appeared lost…
Confused…
Broken at times…
But don’t be mistaken by the surface…
Water droplets on a clear diamond face…

Don’t think you know me…
Unless you open your heart…
